Dearest fellow Red Starians, I am finally hoping to be promoted to the big leagues of Red Star, and lead the imperious Postgraduates of Red Star into battle for the '25-'26 season! Taking the reigns from the wise and VERY experienced Liam Donaghy, and the spry-for-his-age Pat Colletta would be the greatest privilege of my career at UCL. Do bare in mind, my ability to take on this position is fully dependent on me actually receiving and meeting the offer that UCL may or may not give me, however I cannot conceive of the next year being without the mighty Red Star.
Having been the president of the society this year, I feel like it's finally time for me to take on some real work, and manage the tumultuous and arduous Team UCL Leagues, and play through the arthritis that will soon affect me at this big age of mine.
You may worry that now I'm no longer doing a 'BS' Philosophy degree, and will be subjected to real work for the first time since my GCSEs in 2019, that I will struggle to handle such a serious and time-laden commitment. Yet I would like to assure you that no degree will ever get in the way of my devotion to the Red Star and my intensely underrated goalscoring tendencies.
As I plough through the word count of this nomination with ease, I ask for your vote to elect me as the Postgraduate Captain for our great Society. A vote for me is a vote for total football, unparalleled tactics, and a captain with a keen eye for goal:
