Football Club (Women's): Treasurer

As a second year history student, the social and competitive elements of football have been the highlights of my year, playing football again after years off from sport. I am even more determined to fulfil my final year at UCL by contributing even more than I have this year. It would be a great honour to prove that a history degree and the treasury can go hand in hand!

I believe that I could be beneficial to the club, that the role could enhance my skillset and give me the opportunity to thrive to improve and better things, for all of our members. As a very committed member of the 2's (and socials on Wednesday's!) I understand how much time football demands and even as a social member, I would aim with the committee to make it as fun as possible, improving logistics to make life easier for all of us. I have always been incredibly budget-oriented so it would be a great test for me to learn and handle finances on a larger scale!

I am very much willing to devote more time and skillset to a club with exceptional qualities and members, working alongside a passionate committee of football fanatics, thriving to manage the club to the best standard possible. I would utilise the role to champion change, badgering the union to make Sunday games financially viable by suggesting more coach travel to ease journeys. Furthermore, as we move to the end of the season I would aim to extend activities to make the most of our sponsorship funding and finally get the 2's our own coach:)
