FinTech Society: Welfare Officer

Hey, I'm Yuvi, an Information Management student passionate about the intersection of finance and technology. My background gives me a unique perspective on how data-driven insights and digital tools can enhance inclusivity, accessibility, and engagement within our society. I am running for Welfare Officer because I want to ensure that every member feels supported, valued, and empowered to make the most of their FinTech journey.

If elected, I will implement the following initiatives:

• Enhanced Inclusivity & Representation: FinTech thrives on diverse perspectives. I will work to create an inclusive environment where students from all academic backgrounds, whether in finance, tech, or business, feel welcome and can easily integrate into the society.
• Global & Local Opportunities: I will push for subsidised access to major FinTech events and establish partnerships that allow our members to represent UCL in global conferences.
• Community Building through Socials: Beyond networking events, I will introduce casual socials like FinTech game nights and themed bar meetups to foster stronger connections.
