Having served as an Outreach Executive for the Fintech Society last year, I have gained great experience in the Fintech Society. Reaching out to potential guests, expanding our society's reach and helping the organization of many events was an invaluable experience and I hope to improve on that in the following year.  My passion for Fintech, combined with the vision I share with the rest of the group on bringing the UCL Fintech Society back to the top, makes me a perfect candidate for the Vice President of Outreach role.  Next year, with a bigger responsibility, I hope to lead more initiatives and have a bigger impact for the society. Through strengthened collaborations with sponsors, and high-profile speakers, I hope to improve on the UCL Fintech Society Podcast, which I think has very high potential. If elected, I will work tirelessly to enhance the reputation of the society, and ensure that the outreach team works effectively.

Devina Singh Luthra

As an aspiring VP of Outreach for UCL FinTech, I bring my year of executive experience and involvement in blockchain based startup, where I worked in client relations and negotiations. I am committed to bringing in various opportunities and organising events for the members through my learnings from actively being part of the FinTech society, industry and building connections over the last year.

My mission? To bridge the gap and bring awareness to FinTech while enhancing society's presence across campus and beyond. I propose to expand events beyond hackathons, potentially exploring weekly-mentorship programs/ workshops and collaborating with other universities--- bringing back the Global FinTech Conference, social networking events and more joint projects, putting UCL FinTech out there for society’s growth and recognition. Moreover, connecting with other UCL business and finance societies, I see valuable opportunities to organise more social cross-society events for our members. I am ready to introduce innovation strategies to broaden our reach and create impactful opportunities, making UCL FinTech the go-to hub for all things financial technology.

My dedication, commitment to FinTech and vision for future collaborative opportunities puts me right at the front to lead the outreach team and contribute to UCL Fintech Society’s future success.
