Era Journal: Treasurer

I am standing for the position of treasurer because I love ERA journal, its community and its wonderful events, and I want to ensure that we maintain its impeccable standards this year. In an increasingly digitised world, I am passionate about the preservation of print publications, and take great pride in ERA’s originality and unabating success in this field.

I am confident in my ability to manage ERA’s finances efficiently, and I'd relish the opportunity to continue the momentum set in past years. I’m organised and driven, with a keen eye for detail, and having been on the ERA committee last year, I’ve become familiar with the tireless work that goes on behind the scenes, as well as the editorial process and structure of the magazine.

I want to ensure that we get the most out of the diligent work everyone puts into ERA, and create the best possible experience for everyone involved in the journal. We are so lucky to be situated in London, for its vibrant cultural scene, liveliness and amazing venue opportunities. As treasurer, I would manage our budget wisely to support ERA’s growth, allowing us to continue securing exciting spaces for our various events, launch parties and showcases, and enabling another wonderful year for the magazine! xo
