Haley Fung

Hey everyone! I’m Haley, and I’ve been a proud member of UCLe for the past 2 years. Since Term 2, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Partnership Executive, and I’ve been working closely with our current director Selena to source sponsors to fund our society.

If given the chance to lead, this is what I plan to bring to the table:

  1. Revamping Our Partnership Strategies: I aim to secure more partnerships by engaging UCLe alumni and guest speakers (who have a much higher conversion rate!) instead of relying on cold emailing, which hasn’t been as effective in the past.
  2. Leadership & Coordination: I’m an excellent leader who thrives in cross-functional teamwork, demonstrated through pro-bono projects with 180DC and my participation in competitive team environments (like The Business Game!). I will lead my executive team with purpose and focus, ensuring we deliver results that make a difference.
  3. Expanding Our Network: Networking is one of my strongest suits. Over the past year, I’ve attended 15+ networking and insight sessions to expand my personal and professional network, and I am determined to leverage these connections to secure valuable partnerships that align with UCLe’s mission.

Actions speak louder than words – I am currently already coordinating partnerships with The Economist and Macquarie for 25/26 academic year, and would love to continue these responsibilities as your director next year!

A vote for me means MORE and BETTER sponsors for UCle!

Paul Politis

I am Paul Politis, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Entrepreneurship, I’m excited to stand for Director of Partnerships at UCL’s Entrepreneurship Society, which I’ve been an executive this past year. My entrepreneurial journey began with founding my own businesses (beach bar in Greece), giving me firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities student entrepreneurs face.

This year has been transformative—I’ve successfully secured partnerships with Notion, EWOR, multiple startups, and I’m currently in talks with HSBC, Rothschild, Amazon, Aramco, proving my ability to close deals and foster meaningful relationships. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how to build strategic, high-value collaborations that bring real opportunities to students.

My vision for the society is built on four pillars:

  • Expanding mentorship programs to connect students with successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
  • Developing accessible funding pathways to support early-stage ventures.
  • Strengthening our alumni network to leverage the incredible successes of past UCL entrepreneurs. Last year alone, 19 of Forbes' 30 Under 30 were UCL alumni. By fostering these connections, we can empower the next generation with mentorship, investment opportunities, and industry insights.

My goal is to position UCL as London’s premier hub for student entrepreneurship—a place where ambition meets opportunity. Let’s build something extraordinary together.

Tam Tangtrongjit

I love building connections and making big ideas happen. With my experience in partnerships, events, and networking, I’m ready to bring new opportunities and grow the Entrepreneur Society together!
