English Society: Treasurer

I am standing for Treasurer because I have thoroughly enjoyed working as a marketing officer for the 24-25 committee. Throughout the year, I've contributed to event planning, promotion, and have built meaningful relationships within the society. I’m eager to take on more responsibility and help guide the English Society in the next academic year. As treasurer, I would focus on increasing investment in Green and Gilded, the English Society magazine, where I’m currently an editor. By doing so, I believe we can offer more low-commitment journalistic opportunities, which will help attract new members and improve our credibility among established media outlets at UCL. Additionally, I’m committed to ensuring our events remain affordable and accessible to all UCL students who share a passion for literature.
