Energy Society: Welfare Officer

My name is Janice and I would like to nominate myself for the role of Welfare Officer in the Energy Society. As a first year student studying Earth Science student, I am interested in the field of energy and aware the importance on how it affect in the world. Although I might seems unfamiliar for you guys, I would engage as much as I can starting from now. My ability on active listening and well organised makes me suited for this role, as I strongly believe that the most important thing is to make sure everyone feel involved and supported.



If I would have the chance to join, I will focus on members’ well-being by regularly collecting feedbacks and gather suggestions, while working closely with the committee to enhance everyone’s experience in the society.



Throughout regular check-ins, open forums, and confidential support sessions, I will make sure that everyone has a platform to voice their concerns and ideas to ensure everyone is happy. My goal after I could join in is to create a friendly and active community where members would feel comfortably participating and networking. I wish to provide a positive influence by working as a team while being able to assist or simply being someone you can talk to.
