I'm excited to apply for the role of Research Associate again, as I've enjoyed working with the Energy Society committee this year. This role has allowed me to research speakers, help curate panel discussions, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the energy sector. I've learned so much from this experience, and I can't wait to keep bringing fresh and engaging topics to the table.

Last summer, I worked with a team of UCL students on a blog series called Acclimatised, where we explored the latest advancements in tackling the climate crisis. Our aim was to keep university students in the loop on sustainable technologies and highlight the positive steps being taken to address climate change. My posts focused on sodium-ion batteries as a greener alternative to lithium-ion batteries, comparing their performance and environmental impact. This project helped me develop my teamwork, organisation, and communication skills, which I’m eager to use in bringing regular updates on renewable technologies and the energy market.

I'm really looking forward to continuing my work with Energy Society, and keeping you all informed on the latest developments in the energy industry. Being part of the committee would allow me to contribute meaningfully to something I’m passionate about, all while helping to promote a more sustainable future!
