The G3 Energy Summit, as London’s largest student-led energy conference, plays a pivotal role in advancing the Energy Transition agenda by bringing together leading experts, students, and industry professionals. It would be such a pleasure to contribute my expertise to this transformative event, helping to foster impactful discussions and meaningful connections that drive the future of energy.

To this role, I bring with me a wealth of experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder engagements, organizing high-level events, and a deep commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions, I am confident in my ability to effectively plan, manage, and execute this event to ensure it delivers tangible impact.

  • My achievements include successfully organizing the annual Renewable Energy Conference (REC) for 3 years in a row bringing together over 1000 stakeholders in the Uganda energy industry and beyond, facilitating panel discussions, workshops, and high-level dialogues on energy issues, policy frameworks, and technological innovations.
  • I have successfully coordinated industry-academia partnerships, ensuring that key stakeholders contribute effectively to knowledge exchange and actionable outcomes.
  • As a dedicated renewable energy professional (7 years’ experience) I am passionate about translating policy discussions into implementable solutions that address global challenges such as energy poverty, climate resilience, and green innovation.
Ella Perinpanayagam

Hi everyone, I'm Ella.

I'm a second year Natural Sciences student and I'm passionate about raising awareness of sustainable energy resources through fun and informative events. I've really enjoyed being part of Energy Society this year and I'm excited to help make it even better! Having previously organised MUN (debating) Conferences during my time at school, I would love the opportunity to make the G3 conference as engaging and relevant as possible (hopefully I'll see some of you there this year too!) Developing energy storage systems during my internship at Rolls-Royce Aerospace has showed me how important career outreach and networking is. I'll definitely make that a priority for the conference if you vote for me as G3 Officer! XD
