TranscenDance is more than just a competition- it’s a celebration where dancers come together to connect, inspire, and share what we love. After experiencing how special TD 2025 was, I understand how much this competition means to our society and how it unites our community. That’s why I’m running for TD Producer: to make TD 2026 even better, and ensure it’s an event we are all proud of.

Producing a seamless competition requires strong leadership, organisation and creativity, and I am confident in my ability to meet those demands. From scheduling and logistics to securing top-tier judges, I will work closely with the production team to ensure every aspect is planned to perfection, with backup plans in place for any challenges that come our way.

Leading up to TD, I’ll organise workshops and socials to unite and energise the community. I will also build on our home competition’s reputation and make sure the event is smooth, dynamic and inclusive. My vision for TD 2026 is for it to be a place where people don’t just come to win, but to have an unforgettable experience where dancers uplift each other and celebrate our shared passion for dance.

So, if you want to see the slickest, best-organised, and most exciting TD yet, vote Liv for TranscenDance Producer!

UCL dance society has become a secondary home to me. I love how connected everyone is through our shared passion of dance. Despite only being a first year I have noticed the welcoming and encouraging atmosphere, and i'd love to help preserve that. This quality is something to cherish and I wish to showcase those attributes in UCL's annual inter-university competition.

Having Transcendance as my first dance competition was very special for me. To be able to talk to and watch many dancers perform different styles at such a high calibre was inspiring. Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and I want to help make our society even more inclusive, dynamic, and fun! I’m running for TD because I believe I can bring fresh ideas and create a fun and memorable show for 2026 as I have a real passion and work ethic. As someone who has experienced firsthand how dance can bring people together, I want to ensure that everyone, regardless of skill level, feels welcome both on stage and those watching that they feel they too can get involved.

I have experience in group organisation and event planning through my time as prefect at my old school, as well as volunteering at other establishments, so I am confident that I would be able to handle the workload required, as i can communicate, and work well with a team. I have a few goals and practical improvements, but overall I'm excited to just take part in doing something for our society, creating a memorable experience with friends!
