Hello everyone, I’m Rohith, and I would love to stand for Treasurer next year, with exciting plans to improve our club!
My core priority is to expand cricketing opportunities and promote our social community. Currently, 65% of our expenditure goes to training facilities with Term Two Lord's costing an additional £160 per week than equidistant alternatives, despite low turnouts. Our Club Whites were a large financial loss. If elected, I’ll prioritise S&C Sessions from Term 1 (Second XI Inclusive), High Quality Fielding Equipment, Stylish Training Kits/Merch and Bigger Socials (e.g. Ou Est Le Poulet Costumes, Tours, Celebratory Jugs). This will improve our standard and club spirit required at higher leagues.
Besides cutting costs, I intend to increase income. Fundraisers like Summer Barbecues provide additional cash flows. Also, if we expand, we benefit from more Memberships and UCL Funding, also increasing Alumni Sponsorships.
Secondly, as Treasurer I intend, with the Committee, to increase the sense of pride and community in UCLCC. Although great friendships exist, fresher-returner and subgroup barriers can still be broken, by a wide variety of socials – more curry/quiz nights, pool tournaments, five a side football matches, grouped pub crawls, race days, tours e.g. Brighton, and joint socials. Together, we will facilitate greater relationships, enjoyment, and opportunities for all!

Hi everyone, if we haven't already met, I'm Kavi, a first-year economics student, and I'm running to be the cricket club's Treasurer next year.
I have really enjoyed joining the cricket club this year, and I'd love the opportunity to help progress the club in the future. According to my degree, I should be good with money, so that's a start, but I promise I know how to handle numbers and forms...
During my gap year, I gained various skills and experiences, which I hope will help achieve the club's ambitions. I will present my ideas and plans for the club during our AGM, while also taking suggestions from all of you, so look out for that!
I would really appreciate your vote, and either way, I look forward to another successful year of cricket starting in September.
