UCL Cricket has been a massive part of my life since joining two long years ago. I have loved taking part in socials and training and I've even managed to chance the most jokes season ever in the 1s. As Treasurer this year I've enjoyed being part of the committee and after some great financial responsibility from me (better than any cricket I've ever played) the club is in a great position financially. I've also done like a million forms and ran this club with Woodsy so I know the SU bureaucracy well.
As your Prez I would love to continue the forward momentum that has been generated over the last couple of seasons especially in what could be our first year in the Prem. To achieve this I've got a few key aims:
- Having more regular committee meetings and clearly defining roles to ensure that the clubs goals are being met and that the committee are working for the members.
- A greater emphasis on having beginner training programmes in addition to the current provision for those who have played cricket before.
- Making the club more fiscally sustainable as it continues to grow. For example, looking at different net providers as Lord's does not represent good value for money.
- Working to ensure that the club is a safe and welcoming space for all.
- Working collaboratively with the Union to try and get them to support us as much as possible as we continue to grow as a club.
I love this club and I'd love the chance to give back to something that has been such a core part of my time at UCL.

Dear members of UCL cricket club, the time is now! I am excited to put myself forward for the position of Club President. Having served as Social Sec, I have gained invaluable experience in engaging with members, organizing events, and fostering a strong sense of community within our club. This role has fueled me to make our club not only successful on the field but also a welcoming and inclusive space for all. My motivation to take on the role of President comes from a genuine desire to see the club thrive and reach new heights. I BELIEVE that by focusing on inclusion, teamwork and efficiency, we can enhance the experience for every member. My goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or skill level, feels valued and has the opportunity to contribute to our club's success.
As President, I will prioritize the following: Inclusivity and Growth- Encouraging every member to take an active role in the club so that everyone feels part of the overall team from day one. Bettering Club Operations: Streamlining club management making sure the committee is doing their roles and supporting the club as we should, this would include improving communication between the committee and club members. By doing this I hope that the club will be well functioning all year round meaning that members looking to one day take up roles on the committee have a framework to be able to achieve success after those on the committee have left their roles. And finally, overall building on our success, making UCL cricket great!
