I am standing for Consulting Society Welfare Officer because I understand what it is like for students to attempt to face challenging career prospects, juggle coursework, and have their commitments. Having previously worked as a Service-person Welfare Officer role at a special school, I understand the importance of establishing a culture that ensures students are heard, included, and encouraged to succeed. My training in advocacy, mentoring, and student welfare has equipped me with the skills to make all the members of society have access to mental health care, career counseling, and an efficient peer support system.
The consulting world is high-stress and high-stakes, and I'd be happy to help students manage stress as much as taking the most of all opportunities. If elected, I will have schemes for well-being programs, networks of career advice, and mentoring programs so members can receive professional and emotional advice along their journey. I will also co-operate fully with the executive committee to provide events for the society that are inclusive, accessible, and worthwhile for students with different backgrounds.
With my background, I value the importance of organization, effective listening, and being a good steward of money, all of which I will bring with me in this role. I am dedicated to making students succeed, and I look forward to the opportunity to help build a more compassionate and dynamic community within the Consulting Society.

I'm Yuvi, an Information Management student with a strong interest in consulting and experience as a project manager. After leading teams to consistently deliver results under tight deadlines and securing multiple spring internship offers, I understand the importance of well-being in high-pressure/stress environments. As Welfare Officer, I want to ensure that every member of UCL Consulting Society feels supported, engaged, and empowered to make the most of their experience.
As you know consulting is a fast-paced and competitive field, and balancing career aspirations with personal well-being is crucial. I will introduce peer support sessions and career check-ins, creating a space where members can share challenges, gain guidance, and stay motivated during recruitment season. Beyond professional development, I will organise casual networking opportunities, from relaxed socials to speaker-led roundtable discussions, fostering an environment where members can build meaningful connections beyond just case prep.
Communication and structured planning are key to an efficient and well-functioning society. I will ensure that resources and opportunities are easily accessible and well-communicated, so members always know how to get involved.
By voting for me, you choose a Welfare Officer who understands the pressures of consulting but also the importance of community, balance, and well-being. Vote for me and we can make Consulting Society a place of explosive (but healthy) career growth.

Hello, my name is Ines Aissi, and I am a penultimate-year student at the UCL School of Management, studying Information Management. I am excited to apply for the role of Welfare Officer at UCL Consulting Society, bringing a structured, impact-driven approach to fostering well-being, engagement, and inclusivity.
As Head of Marketing for Muslimah Careers Society and Marketing Executive for the School of Management Society, I have led large-scale events, strengthened community engagement, and streamlined communications. I have also been an active participant in UCL Consulting Society, attending BCG and Oliver Wyman office visits, Kearney’s online Q&A, and leading my team as a finalist in the Case Study Competition.
In this role, I will focus on three key priorities. First, well-being and support via leveraging my experience as an Academic Representative, I will ensure members feel heard, signposting relevant resources and ensuring safety of society members. Second, community and engagement—I aim to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment where members can build genuine connections and engage with the society beyond its professional events. Finally, operational excellence: I will streamline processes, including First-Year Representative selection, and efficiently organise key society events with my existing background in event management in societies.
I look forward to enhancing the society’s impact and member experience. Thank you for your time and consideration! :)

Hello! I'm Lea, a second-year studying Biomedical Sciences. Here at UCL, Consulting Society has given me a place to engage in insightful discussions, learn new skills, and connect with amazing people. As an executive under the Life Sciences Division this year, I’ve supported members in their consulting journeys, and I’m now running for Welfare Officer for 2025-2026 to give back to the society that has made my year so special.
This year, I’ve helped create industry resources to guide members in their career pathways and supported the Consulting Summit, our society's flagship event. These experiences have strengthened my ability to support peers under pressure, foster connections, and create a welcoming environment—all essential for a Welfare Officer.
Beyond this, I have a certificate in Mental Health First Aid, equipping me with the skills to recognise and support members dealing with stress, burnout, or challenges. Consulting recruitment is intense, and I want to ensure everyone in the society has access to a supportive and understanding environment.
If elected, I promise to prioritise your well-being and advocate for your concerns, serving as a bridge between members, the committee, and the SU. I plan to continue organising committee events, providing a welcoming space with snacks, advice, and connections. Consulting Society is more than just learning and networking—it’s a community, and I hope to make it as inclusive and supportive as possible.
