Computer Science Society: Head of Media

Computer science has been a defining part of my journey since high school, leading me to pursue a Computer Science and Robotics degree at UCL. Beyond academics, I thrive in collaborative environments, such as the NHS Clinical AI & Quantum Hackathon, where my team secured 2nd place. As a dedicated member of the Computer Science Society, I value its role in fostering a strong, connected community. Now, I aim to contribute more actively as Head of Media, leveraging my skills in content creation to enhance engagement and outreach. With over two years of freelance video editing experience, I create high-quality, engaging content using Premiere Pro, CapCut, and other tools. My marketing internship at a towel manufacturing company also taught me how to craft compelling media that captivates audiences. Beyond technical expertise, I bring leadership and teamwork skills. As a former school sports captain, I led a council of 50+ members, honing my abilities in organisation and communication—crucial for this role. If elected, I aim to increase engagement through innovative media strategies and impactful content. By strengthening the society’s digital presence, I hope to foster a more interactive and connected CS community at UCL
