Civil Engineering Society: Vice-President

My name is Dillan, and I am a second-year civil engineering student. My interest in applying for this role of vice president stems from my interest in leadership, management and collaboration, as well as an interest in continuing the networking and social opportunities offered by the society. 

Throughout my academics I have always been involved in team projects and have often opted to manage and organise events or revision sessions. My experiences in leading Geography Society during sixth form and being head student in school have honed my skills in management, leadership, time management and communication, skills essential for the role.

If offered the role as Vice President, I would ensure Civil Engineering Society is a platform for academic growth and industry collaboration, but also for student interaction and social prosperity. I would assist in the organising of networking events and other socials.
