CivSoc UCL

Founded in 2016 and SU affiliated in 2022, we're UCL's Civil Engineering Society (CivSoc), a discipline-based society for students completing Civil Engineering. Each year, we help our members integrate by organising academic, careers and social events, providing networking opportunities internally and externally. Our aim is to increase our outreach and activity and heighten our profile amongst the other engineering societies.

Events we have planned for the new academic year (2025/2026) include, but are not limited to:

  • Freshers Social + Freshers Bridge Competition
  • Careers Fair
  • Regular Academic Talks & Networking Sessions
  • Site Visits
  • Inter-Uni and Inter-Society Collabs
  • Regular Social Events & Sports Tournaments
  • Civil Engineering Society Celebratory Dinner & Awards Night

In CivSoc, we pride ourselves on three pillars: inclusivity, community engagement and professional development.  Our events welcome everyone and throughout this year we hope to increase the level of engangement and acitvity within CivSoc to new levels.

Sign up to CivSoc UCL to join one of the most passionate and diverse student bodies.
