Chinese Students and Scholars Association Society: President

Hello everyone! My name is Yuki Zhou, and I am officially announcing my candidacy for the position of CSSA President. CSSA is a home for all Chinese students abroad, and I am committed to making it more efficient, welcoming, and practical—providing real support to help everyone adapt to their studies, life, and career development.Over the years, I have actively participated in CSSA events, witnessing the support it provides to students while also identifying areas for improvement. That is why I am running for President—to enhance CSSA’s ability to offer more precise and effective support.If elected, I will focus on the following key initiatives: strengthening support for new students by providing detailed orientation guides, airport pickup, housing advice, and a mentorship program connecting newcomers with experienced students; expanding career development opportunities by collaborating with alumni and companies to host job talks, resume workshops, and mock interviews; optimizing information dissemination by establishing a more efficient online platform to ensure that important updates are transparent and easily accessible; and improving event quality by streamlining inefficient processes and organizing more practical academic, cultural, and career-related activities. CSSA is not just an organization—it is a platform designed to truly help its members. I believe that through practical measures, we can make CSSA more efficient and welcoming. 

在过去的一年，我以执行主席的身份全程参与以及推动了UCLCSSA的各项工作与活动。我主导并管理学联的核心事务，关注大小型活动的创新与执行，也致力于提升整体运营效率。同时优化了学联各部门对接包括与主席团对接上的工作机制，加强了各部门之间的协作，使信息流转更加顺畅，减少了部分执行中的沟通成本。我还积极推动UCLCSSA与外部合作交流的机会，和校方、校友会、企业及其他社团组织等系统展开了许多深度合作，使学联在资源整合、影响力和资金支持方面有了更长远的布局。这些经验不仅让我在管理和决策层面有了更深的历练，也让我对学联建立了更深的感情。

若当选今年主席，我将着重优化以下几点：
1. 提升学联的专业化运营，优化内部管理制度，尽量让每位成员的工作范围更加清晰高效，减少重复性沟通和执行障碍。同时推动部门培养机制，确保学联的可持续发展

Leveraging my passion, experience, and skills, I aim to cultivate a warmer and more nurturing environment for all students studying abroad. I eagerly anticipate earning everyone's support and trust and uniting us in our efforts to make UCLCSSA the home for every Chinese student at UCL.
