Capturing club memories through photography and making cute video edits have always been a passion of mine. Having studied multimedia design for 8 years and photography for 3, I am certified in media design and super familiar with softwares for eg. poster-making and camerawork using my own canonEOS and SonyRX100 on the daily. Aside from technical skills, I also have experience with social media management having managed 4 clubs accounts before, coming up with professional marketing posts, cute trends to attract attention and whatever else marketing demands. In particular, I am super proud of my tiktok and reels 😎in a previous similar role, our club reels averaged 26k+ views, with every post in my term exceeding 14k - I know what's aesthetic and I'm fast with trends. I’ve made a lot of cheer content this year with photos and video edits so I’ve been practising capturing those mid-air stunt shots and will make sure top quality cheer content is recorded on professional equipment. Years of procrastination have also trained me to work fast and work well to make last minute posts and I’m confident I can capture the fun spirit our club has and make cute posts everyone can share. I'm open to ideas, always down to make tiktoks/reels and eager to get more people involved! If I was elected, I promise more exposure, high resolution/quality photography and videography, and of course more involvement and more content. So Lightning let’s go viral ;)
Hi! I'm Raquell, I joined cheer this year, and it’s been such a fun experience already! I’m super excited to run for publicity officer because I want to share the energy of UCL Lightning with everyone. I’m committed, well-organised, and full of ideas to showcase our team’s spirit.
I’d love to create content that captures our skill and passion, whether it's highlighting fierce performances, sharing Lift-ups, or showing the hard work we put in during practices. I want everyone to feel the electricity makes UCL Lightning special. I also want to use our platform to not only show off our talent but to create content that gives insight into who we are and encourages new people to join — especially those who might not have considered cheer before or feel underrepresented. Everyone deserves to feel seen, and I aim to create content that shows cheer isn’t for just one type of person.
I have experience in graphic design and have used Canva for my A-levels. I’m excited to use these skills to make content that catches the attention of current and potential members. I plan to use trending sounds for TikToks and reels, create countdowns for big events, and post regular throwbacks to highlight past achievements. I also plan to have regular Lift-up posts and more practice videos to keep us motivated.

Hi!!! I’m Freya and I’m running for publicity offer for cheer! I’m passionate about sharing the amazing work, friendship and dedication that takes place in lightning. I want to help promote the amazing work we do in practices, at shows and competitions through the lightning social media and create a strong lightning online presence. I love photography, film, editing and creating. With my skills in design, I will make sure that the Instagram shows off all our wins, as well as creating funny videos from comps and training. I really enjoyed my first year in cheer and want to inspire others to join our community as well!!

My name is Lucy and I'd love to be your publicity officer.
Despite only joining cheer this year, I have fallen in love with the sport and mainly the friendships created. I would like to give back to the society by becoming publicity officer, as through social media I can showcase our talent and the fun times we have together.
I enjoy photography and love taking pictures of friends; serious photos when needed but I love a candid or a silly one.
I would love to revive our tiktok and make our Instagram enjoyable to everyone. I would engage us in the current trends, and possibly introduce monthly mini interviews for each team, as a way to display success across the entire society.
I will happily incorporate any suggestions made throughout the season.

Hi everyone! My name is Rina Horie and I am currently a member of team Flash! I am running for Publicity Officer not only because I want to share our hard work and unforgettable moments as a society, but also to ensure that they are preserved as lasting memories on our social media page.
