Cheerleading Club: Club Secretary

I am excited to run for the position of Cheerleading Club Secretary because I am passionate about the team, dedicated to ensuring its smooth operation, and eager to contribute to its continued success. From the very first taster session, I knew I was going to love cheerleading. My time on Spark has been nothing short of amazing, making me want to be more involved in the club, and the behind-the-scenes work of the secretary role aligns perfectly with my strengths. I am a micromanaging queen, but I'm also never too serious. My calendar hates to see me coming, but I always manage to get everything done. Admin and organization are where I thrive; structure? Hell yeah, you’ll see me there. In my first term of uni alone, I voluntarily balanced a heavy workload, juggling applications, work, auditions, taster sessions, cheer practices, career events, socialising, family, tutoring, and, of course, university deadlines. This experience has made me confident in my ability to handle workload efficiently and support the president and treasurer effectively. I’m also a strong communicator, able to get points across clearly to different audiences, which is essential for the role. I believe that by taking on the behind-the-scenes work, I can contribute to the club in the best way I can, helping it run smoothly while fostering the amazing team spirit that makes cheer so special.
