Book Club: President

My first time at book club introduced me to an open space where we were all encouraged to speak and give our opinions unjudged. Book club allows students to read and enjoy literature outside of their course and without the pressures and constraints of the degree. I would like to be responsible for continuing on this community where we can all share our love for literature and learn new ideas and hear stories you would never have initially chosen to read.

I would like to introduce the chance to collaborate with more societies with similar interests to ours in order to ground our literary debate in more real world topics. I'd also like to incorporate movie nights of the adaptations of the books we read as well as continuing on our tradition of going to the bar after our weekly discussions.
