Basketball Club (Women's): Social Team Social Secretary

I'm standing for social secretary to build our UCLWB community and create fun moments on and off of the court for everyone! Before UCL, I was co-captain of my varsity high school team and with that, I organised post-tourney socials and helped create team bonding events and activities alongside the captain. I've also led other non-basketball clubs , where I organised fundraisers and club get-togethers, which has given me experience in bringing people together. 

As UCLWB social secretary, I hope to plan a mix of socials so there's something for everyone, whether that’s chill movie nights, picnics, or nights at Phineas + Scala! I also aim to plan events in collaboration with the men’s team and other clubs to grow the basketball family! I want to ensure that we create a fun and inclusive environment where all members feel welcome and happy.

I also hope to be a voice for members, someone that you can turn to with ideas, suggestions, and concerns of how events are run. I hope to continue building a communicative environment where everyone has a chance to contribute to and strengthen our club's events. In the end, our socials should bring everyone together, and I hope to help make that happen :)
