Swarnim Gurung

Hi chat, my name is Swarnim (using the full government name because this is some serious business) and I believe I would be a good candidate for UCLWB President. I have been apart of uclwb for two wonderful years now, and I truly believe I have the experience and passion to not only maintain the beauty of our club but perchance, make it shine brighter.

Uclwb will always hold a special place in my heart because it was this club, and the incredible people in it, that made me feel at home when I first arrived at UCL. The warmth, the sense of community, and the genuine friendships I’ve found here are what I love most about our club, and if I’m elected, I pinkie promise to nurture and preserve this spirit. As we all know, UCLWB is more than just a club/society, it’s a family. That’s what makes it so special, and that’s why I want to help give back. This past year, I had the joy of being the social media officer, where I had an absolute blast showcasing our club’s beauty to the world. Next year I hope to take on an even bigger role, helping lead our club, strengthening our bond, and growing together as one.

All in all, I’m running for president because I want to give back to the club that has given me so much. Just as uclwb welcomed and supported me, I want to do the same for both new and returning members. And finally, it would be an honour to be President Chiara’s SUCCESSOR. I’m very excited to grow, laugh, improve and ball with all of you guys next year!!!

Thank you,

Swarnim
