Danilo Paganelli

Hey everyone! My name is Danilo and I am running to be your president again! I have really enjoyed running the Autism Society and meeting all of you this year and I am hoping to continue doing this for my final year! Next year, I plan to:

1.) Continue running both regular in-person socials and other fun events (such as Kahoots, picnics, movie nights, SpeedFriendings and more)
2.) Collaborate more with SSW and other support services to help our members more
3.) Run more regular online socials to cater for more students
4.) Create an Autism Society WhatsApp community so that members can communicate more
5.) Collab with the Autism Hub and other external charities
6.) Help raise awareness and support of Autism within and outside of UCL
7.) Collaborate with other universities, societies and networks so that members have more chances to make friends and meet each other
8.) Introduce a monthly "Interests share" so that members can share topics that they are interested in
9.) Organise guest speakers and fundraisers

However, above all I want to ensure that the society is a welcoming, fun and supportive place where members can make friends and enjoy their time at university, as that is the most important. I am a very hardworking, kind and empathetic person that is always there for members and I believe that this will help me with running the society again this coming year. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at danilo.paganell.20@ucl.ac.uk ! 😊
