I started tango at UCL during my foundation year. Tango society really helped me a lot in building up a wonderful friendship network. It is especially meaningful to me as a first year student in London. Besides the weekly classes, the social events are the best opportunities for members to get to know each other and make friends. I built up my friend group in tango in the socials held by the society this year.
We had a lot of fun in this year’s socials! I attended most of them, for example jazz night, ping pong social , pub socials etc. A lot of our members enjoyed them very much, and we have many new ideas for future social events as well. I would love to be the one who arrange these amazing socials and I really hope I can help more members make friends in the welcoming atmosphere of the tango society!
