Yoga and Meditation Club: Vice President

Hi everyone, I’m Sonia, and I would love to be your next Vice President! 

Having joined as a member of the society this year, the yoga classes have become one of the things I look forward to the most each week. With leadership experience from establishing volunteering initiatives and organisational skills as a legal research assistant, I am eager to leverage such skills to foster a supportive and enriching environment for another year of everyone’s yoga journeys!

As your Vice President, I will focus on:

• Community and Environment – dedication to creative an inclusive and non-judgemental atmosphere for all yogis, regardless of skill level or background
• Event Enhancement – offering a diverse range of events tailored to your interests and requests. This could include puppy yoga, post-yoga brunches, or even one-off Pilates or Barre classes!
• Wellness Advocacy and Support – prioritising our members’ holistic well-being both inside and outside of our yoga practices through organising mental and physical health workshops, providing resources and offering guidance.
