Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you all well. I am Mrudula Paluri, a first-year chemical engineering student, and I am excited to be running for the Treasurer position within the Yoga Society.
I have always found a sense of well-being and positivity through yoga, and I am now eager to take on a more active role in sustaining and enhancing the society.
With a solid background in mathematics and my diligence in detail, I am confident in my ability to efficiently manage the financial responsibilities integral to the role of Treasurer. I am certain with responsible budgeting we can sustain the current activities but also introduce fresh and exciting ventures in the coming year.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the Yoga Society!

Hey, I'm Ruby. I'll be going into my second year of Anthropology next year and spent this past year as project manager.
I'd love take on the role of treasurer next year and continue to be involved in the committee.
I've been practicing yoga and meditation for 7 years and am convinced of their power to bring more peace, joy, and well-being into our lives - especially important for students since this time of our lives can get intense!
I'd be grateful for the opportunity to hone my finance-y admin skills while working alongside the president to keep the cogs turning smoothly in the background, so everyone can enjoy the society running optimally!

As we navigate the demands university life, I have come to deeply appreciate not only the physical benefits of yoga but also its profound impact on mental well-being. Attending these classes each week provides me with an opportunity to unwind and recharge amidst the busyness of academic life.
I am motivated by a genuine desire to give back to the society that brings important important benefits to its members. If elected, I am committed to leveraging my organisational skills and dedication to ensure the financial health and stability of the society. Additionally, I am eager to organise social events that foster a sense of community among the members, further enriching their experience within the society.
I believe that, as Treasurer, I can play a pivotal role in ensuring the society's continued growth and success, while also creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members to thrive. Thank you for considering my nomination.
