Volleyball Club: Marketing Director

Hey, it's Ajanthica or AJ for short !

I spend most of my life on Instagram, where I post pictures or videos with matching music and organise highlights according to themes, from sunsets to flowers. On a second account, I share daily updates, and I quickly respond to messages because I hate leaving people on delivered. As a marketing director, I'd ensure quick replies to anyone reaching out on all platforms and create graphic posts that stick to certain themes. 

Now, as Marketing Director, I've got big plans to keep our social media game strong. Here's a sneak peek:

• Create highlights or posts about each team player, their positions on the team and their individual strengths
• Make a TikTok page for the UCL volleyball teams where clips of the games would be posted
• Host live Q&A sessions with players or the coaches to give fans a chance to ask questions and get to know the team on a more personal level.
• Share behind the scene clips of the teams training/practising for the games 
• I would like to post a schedule for the upcoming games so everyone knows when and where to Bleed Purple

I aim to create content that feels welcoming and is engaging to old as well as new audiences. Together, let's make our social media presence as vibrant and exciting as our games on the court.

Hey there, it's Izach! As the Marketing Director, I aim to enhance our club's visibility and engagement through online platforms. I have always been interested in sports social media, analyzing their content strategies and taking on ways to improve marketing material to post online. Here are things I aim to do:

Taking charge of the Instagram, I can provide quick responses to messages (as I am chronically online), as well as post regular updates and stories (perhaps hosting IG lives with captains before a match?!), to engage the audience and boost community interaction. I aim to create content that showcases our activities and achievements, which will spark people's interest to the sport and create a sense of community amongst current members. I am open to receive feedback from the community to tailor the marketing strategies that will resonate with the audience, such as producing more aesthetically pleasing stories and posts.

I can produce visually appealing graphics, sticking to certain themes or motifs that are utilised throughout the year. The content will reflect the spirit and energy of UCL and volleyball. I hope to produce highlights and posts that showcase matches, social sessions, and members of the teams, which will allow people to engage with them more. I am keen to create a schedule for the season's matches, allowing people to look out for events that they can watch and support our teams.

Hi everyone! I’m Marianne :) 

As a passionate and dedicated player, I was drawn to this position due to my love for graphics and advertising through social media. Being a member of the Team UCL Social Volleyball League and playing volleyball for 3 years on my high school team has been an incomparable experience. The memories and laughter created over the past few years are experiences which I hold close to my heart, driving me to connect and create content with others, allowing them to experience the same passion that I feel for the sport.

I am driven to maintain the club’s active Instagram presence and create engaging social media content on not only Instagram, but other platforms as well, like Tiktok. I have experience in using social media content creation tools (such as Canva). I hope to provide a comfortable and welcoming platform for newcomers and university students, and provide opportunities for feedback to be given to the club. If elected, I wish to express the passion of UCL’s volleyball players through our social media platforms, and encourage others to join this community :))
