Hi, I'm Chinny and I'm a Sri Lankan who's been living in the UK since I was 5. I have always been an active part of the Sri Lankan community whether that be at my local temple or Sri Lankan events.

I have been to the majority of the events in Sri Lankan society, going to 2 years of Warwick Mela and Sapphire Ball and this year helping with events as an events officer. I hope that my prior experience in running my secondary school geography society will help me with my role as treasurer. I aim to assist the president in ensuring that we have more events that all members of our community are interested in, and I want to push for more large-scale events through collaborations with other SL socs.  

I hope to see your support and I'll be looking forward to working with everyone on the committee and society members.
