The UCL Sri Lankan Society, by its very nature, is symbolic of the multiculturalism and diversity intrinsic to London’s global University. By bringing together existing Sri Lankans as well as other students having an interest in Sri Lankan culture, we are a platform enabling participation in the traditions and culture of Sri Lanka: a chance to make new friends, socialise, eat great food and have fun!
The society has a variety of exciting events planned throughout the year from spicy food nights and socials to the traditional Sri Lankan Vesak celebrations and much more, giving members, quite literally, a flavour of Sri Lankan culture. We will also host events with other UCL societies as well as other Universities too. As a member, you will be able to be actively involved in society affairs and have the opportunity to participate in such events.
So here is the perfect opportunity to take a break from the hectic university schedule and indulge in a new cultural experience.
