Squash Club: Women’s Captain

The squash court became my home 7 years ago. Being coached by my father since my foray into the sport, it has transitioned from being a beloved family tradition to a professional pursuit. My journey has led me to achieve recognition as an Indian National player, a testament to my hard work and dedication.

My tenure as the captain of my school team for several years has developed my leadership and team management skills, as well as honed my ability to adapt, motivate others and address conflicts. I am poised to leverage this experience to drive the women's team towards success in the coming season.

As a team member last year, now as I stand to be your captain, I have an unwavering commitment to our team. I shall act with integrity and fairness in the team selection process, ensuring that merit is the sole criterion. Additionally, I will make sure that the individual needs of players and the collective goals of the team are balanced- match schedules are thoughtfully arranged to prevent collision with academic commitments, and everyone receives an equal opportunity to participate.

I commit to being present at every match to support our players, and navigate through any hiccups. Effective communication is significant to our functioning as a team, and I promise to maintain open lines of communication with the students' union and team members, ensuring that we are always aligned in our vision.
