I have heard through the grapevine that fellow squash player, and my arch nemesis John Sykes has applied for the role of treasurer. I am therefore also applying for this role in order to stop him in his tracks. For those lucky soles who haven't heard of him, imagine the human embodiment of that Lego brick you stand on at 3 in the morning. That's John.
As treasurer, I will finance the following:
Weekly darts events where there is no board, but just a picture of John's face
Extra security at squash sessions to ensure that not even the faintest scent of John can be whiffed from within 5 miles of Bloomsbury Fitness
Bear traps at every door in Bloomsbury Fitness because security isn't enough
If you love squash, and you hate standing on Lego bricks, then please vote me in as treasurer. I will bring an end to this tyranny.
