Squash Club: Men’s 2s Captain

Hi! I’m Nakul, a 2nd-year Computer Science student who has been playing squash actively for about 2-3 years. I played nearly every day at the court in my accommodation last year and it was honestly such a blast. I believe squash is one of the most fascinating sports and it deserves a lot more love and respect than it gets which is why I am running to be your men’s 2s captain.

As the captain I’m ready to take on any responsibility, whether it be making sure every team member feels included, ensuring the team has a positive mindset before a tournament, or practicing with the team to ensure gradual improvement. The single most important facet of any sports team is having a strong sense of camaraderie, something I’d focus on developing in our team. I am a competitive individual, but I believe in having the right balance between discipline, intensity and having fun. Achieving this balance is possibly the most crucial part of my role as captain.
