Somali Society: Outreach Officer

Hello Somali Society,

I am Najma Hussein, and I’m aspiring to be your next Outreach Officer. My journey—from tutoring our Somali youth, navigating their academic challenges, to volunteering at hospitals and with Islamic Relief—has been a testament to what drives me: our collective empowerment and success.

Why am I the right choice? Through every lesson taught and every hand extended in help, I've seen the astounding potential within our community. I'm here to bridge our dreams with tangible achievements. My commitment is to not only elevate our presence within prestigious universities like UCL but to ensure our stories of success are filled and celebrated within all university halls 

I would love to help launch mentorship programs that connect our somali students with Somali professionals and to demystify the path to higher education with targeted workshops. This is about more than just a vision but it’s about answering our community's call for growth, support, and recognition.
