Being in first year, Shakesoc has been an integral part in helping me find my feet at UCL. The phenomenal performances and wonderful support from all members alike have encouraged me to want to improve the society greatly, especially on the social front.

As Social Secretary I aim to organise countless theatre trips, both Shakespearean and contemporary, in and around the heart of London for all members of the society. Greater collaboration with Drama and MT Society will also be a priority to help Shakesoc reach its potential in becoming a prominent society. From pub crawls to collaborative brunches, maintaining the brilliant connections we make during our shows will be of great importance! Of course, history is of great significance to Shakespeare and his works and what better way to explore this than with the British Museum and British Library on our doorstep.

Socials will range from exhibition outings, to club nights, to more relaxed get-togethers, ensuring we cater to all members of the society. And, of course, any suggestions from you will be taken into account and implemented!
