Integrating into a new environment may be difficult for us all. Having studied in the UK for high school and as a year 1 student, I completely understand the panic and loneliness we may encounter when stepping into a new place. UCLPASS has not only broadened my vision and improved my interpersonal skills, but also helped me step out of my comfort zone. It is my wish to return what I have gained from this community and reach out to newcomers to help them settle into UCL. I hope to make all the Hong Kong students at UCL feel that UCLPASS is a “Home away from home” as I do, at the same time promoting its core values.
