Population Health Sciences Society: President

As the current Events Director, I’ve had the unique opportunity to contribute to our society’s growth from the start. As I step into the role of President, I’m excited to build the foundation we’ve established this past year.  My goals for the upcoming year are to support our members as emerging leaders in population health and continue to grow our presence at UCL by:

1. Expanding our Event Lineup: I’m hoping to expand our event offerings even more, tapping into the diverse interests and goals within our society. Whether your goal is to network, learn more about population health, gain new skills, or just to meet people with similar interests, I want to provide the chance to do so.  From focused career events, to academic talks and social events, there will be opportunities for everyone interested in the population health sciences.
2. Emphasizing Collaboration: I’m excited to work closely with our committee and with all our members, integrating your ideas to make sure that our society continues to be a valuable and inclusive space for members. By collaborating with the Faculty of Population Health Science and building stronger ties with other societies, faculties, and external organizations, I hope we can provide members with experiences that will contribute to impactful learning, professional growth, and meaningful connections.

Our first year as a society was a huge success, and I hope we can make next year even better. Looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
