Pokémon Society: Treasurer

Greetings pokefans!! I'm Ariana, a Robotics and AI student and I'm here to run to be your treasurer of the society! Having been an avid Pokémon fan since the appropriate age of 10, I’m a piplup and Gen 4 stan but Alolan Ninetails claimed my number 1 spot! I’ve played through every Pokémon game and watched every anime episode to date! (but please don’t ask me about music). I’m also an avid plushie collector with my vaporeon being a pokesoc favourite... In all seriousness this society will always hold a special place in my heart, it is where I’ve met some of my closest friends, it’s what drove me to become freshers rep for this year.

I believe my experience on the committee and as a freshers rep is invaluable and allows me to have the experience and knowledge of the society’s structure. I have also worked at the Bank of England as a finance data analysis so I’m pretty much a finance expert here :).

As treasurer I will also try and devote myself to trying to find certain areas/aspects of the society where we could potentially save money (so that we can have more for some really cool events later down the line)! I will try to develop strategies to maximise profit whilst keeping things in a reasonable price range. I also aim to support the president to bring you all the most fun events imaginable! As treasurer I will bring more events surrounding VGC, competitive and spin off games to the society so that everyone feels catered for.
