Philosophy Society : President

Hello everyone, I'm Anders, and I've been leading this society throughout the past year! You may have met me outside the society in the second-year philosophy modules.

If you liked any of our talks, socials, study sessions, merch, the Artificial Intelligence issue of the Bentham Digest, or other society endeavours, I would strongly encourage you to vote for me. I have been coordinating these efforts throughout the year, and I think this puts me in a uniquely beneficial position in terms of experience for the society.

If elected, next year, I hope to establish firm turnover policies from this committee to the next, continue our popular events, and adjust to better meet the interests of all those interested in philosophy. I hope to expand our merchandise offerings, and introduce new events like lecture series in addition to our current format of one-off talks. I also hope to create a central repository of review materials for the first year logic modules based on the review sessions I lead.

This year, I've dedicated myself to organising a society that holds a diverse but relevant range of events for those in the philosophy department and those with a more casual interest in philosophy. I hope I can build this community even further next year, and and I hope you will lend me your support in this election. See you all around!
