Mondir Mokeddes

I feel like we already know each other fairly well, but if you've missed it I'm Mondir - a 2nd year maths student ⁽ˡᵒˡ ⁿᵉʳᵈ⁾.

I've been doing parkour since I've joint this society two years ago, and I feel as if I've developed a lot in this time - while also seeing the same in others. Its been incredible doing parkour with you folk. This society - as most here can probably tell - is quite special. I don't know what it is about parkour, but it seems to attract very like-minded individuals with the same dumb sense of humour and very carefree attitudes that I've grown to deeply appreciate here. Being able to be apart of this society has been amazing, and I would love to be able to meaningful give back and direct the society to sustain it as it is - that being my main reason for running.

As for why you should vote for me (other than how awesome I am), being an active member you see a lot should tell you about my dedication to the sport (it's not just about you guys!) and my attendance of socials should tell you that i do legitimately like the people here (ok maybe it is). I feel like i'm an approachable person which is a fairly important part of a president and allows for the betterment of the society.

Anywho, regardless of who's president next year (though i hope it's me!) I look forward to next year of parkour and all the shenanigans and cool jumps that'll happen then, alongside all the new faces, as the new faces this years have certainly lived up to expectations!

Nasif Niyas

Being a part of this club for almost 3 years, I have watched it grow from the amount of members, skill of the members and how dedicated the members are. It fills me with so much joy to see what the club is now and with me approaching my final year next year, I would like to end my time at university being the president of the club that has given me so much and let me have a change to give back to it.

Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Nasif Niyas and I am the current training officer of UCL Parkour Club. After 2 years of being a regular member, I decided to take a chance at having an important role within the parkour club and I felt that it had helped me grow and improve as a person. That's why I would like to further my growth and nominate myself for the role of president.

But why should I be chosen?

In addition to having almost 3 years of parkour experience I have a year's experience of being on committee. I know how the committee works and what is needed for a committee to run successfully and efficiently. Whilst having new people on committee is always nice, I believe having someone with experience is even better. Jobs prefer experience, I don't see why this is any different.

Whilst being one of the longest standing member in the club currently, I am also one of the most dedicated and will put my all into this club.

Thank you and I hope I have your support

Sanjay Ashwin
