As UCL Labour Society events officer last year, I helped to coordinate and organise dozens of events with MPs, other speakers and trips to Parliament. I also have strong connections to my local CLP as the Youth Officer, and have been involved in organising campaigning across London for students. Through my connections with other university Labour societies, councillors, PPCs and people in the local party and across London I hope to help organise even bigger events in collaboration with other London Universities including LSE, KCL, Goldsmiths, City and many others. And last but not least, given the importance of this year with the number of major elections taking place and the general election at some point, UCL Labour will play a central role in getting out students to campaign for Labour candidates up and down the country.

Events I'm hoping to host:

- More speaker events with MPs
- More pub socials AND non alcoholic socials
- Quizzes
- More collaborations with other political societies at UCL, with other universities in London and beyond
- Proper debates (with and without other societies)
- Panel discussions with multiple speakers on relevant political issues from housing to electoral reform
- More campaigning with candidates in and around London, as well as training to help make campaigning accessible
