Jazz Society: Treasurer

Hi, I’m Will and I’m running to be your Jazz Soc Treasurer!

Jazz Soc has been an integral part of my time with ArtsUCL, from the Phineas/IOE Jams, Big Band or Bloomsbury/CPT productions, I have loved every part of it and have met so many fantastic people along the way, and so it would be great to be elected to this position.
 

As a maths student, I am very comfortable with handling numbers and finances, and will look into upgrading the current equipment. In particular, I would like to purchase new music stands and real books for the society, as well as survey the remainder of the equipment to see what needs to be repaired/replaced.
 

Having previously been Live Music Society President and co-director of the most recent Rhapsody, I have extensive experience in liasing with the SU and possess knowledge on how it operates and interacts with its societies. Moreover, these past roles have familiarised me with the various systems that I would need to manage as treasurer (room bookings, activity registrations, payment and purchase forms, etc).
