Filipino Society: Social Secretary

Wassup Filsoc! I’m Angelo, currently a second-year architecture student, and I’ll be running for social secretary this year!

Filipino society has played a massive role in my university experience creating bonds of friendship (including my flatmates) and crafting many memories over the past two years.

Drawing inspiration from the former committee members I am dedicated to maintaining a culture of inclusivity and engagement with all members. It’ll be my mission to nurture a social environment that epitomizes our pinoy spirit where all voices resonate. While it’s true Filipinos often display a reserved demeanour, I’d like to emphasise that I’m a very approachable person stemming from my Head of Prefects role in secondary school- so don’t worry about being afraid to talk to me!
