Electronic Music Society: Head of Publicity

Media and the digital age are powerful vehicles that have the potential to create powerful change and impact. This excites me. believe in sharing stories and messages. As Head of Publicity, bringing to light UCLEMS events, socials and learning opportunities, I aim can inspire future UCL students to get involved in their passions and empowering them to realise their potential. Platforming this has the potential to inspire other students, showcase UCL talent and expand opportunities and recognition for UCL students.

I am a second year Media BA student and media professional working having worked in a wide range of settings from film productions, ad production and social media settings. Platforms are podiums, I have experience in attracting audiences bringing clients averaging under 50,000 views to 1 million views.

EMS has been a very special part of my time at UCL. With such a diverse and vibrant community of likeminded people it would be a great pleasure to be the head of publicity. Every EMS event has been such a special one for me and by participating in the society I have experienced many memorable nights and met some amazing people. 

As head of publicity I would seek to grow the society's awareness through a variety of means. Whether it is maximising engagement on instagram, postering for events or promoting EMS through communities, I would do my absolute best in ensuring the EMS community is heard and a force to be reckoned with across not only the electronic dance music scene. 

I would do my best to uphold and grow the wonderful community of EMS and ensure its events, collaborations and ideas are communicated and promoted as best it can be - It would be an honour !
