Effective Altruism Society: Treasurer

I am standing for the role of Treasurer because I am passionate about finding the best ways to do good and exploring options that help us make the most positive impact on society.

After doing the intro fellowship this year and attending the EA summit, my understanding of the frameworks required to effectively manage huge challenges has significantly broadened and I’ve gained new insight into existential risk. Moreover, being part of a society made up of curious people with common goals has been incredibly rewarding.

In the future, I would like to give our members a similar experience and believe that my experience in coordinating events,  analytical and organisational skills would make me a good candidate for this role.

I look forward to collaborating with the rest of the committee and come up with exciting new additions whilst continuing to foster an inclusive environment for all our members.
