As a nominee for the UCL Consulting Society Welfare Officer, I aim to foster inclusivity & collaboration in our society and provide quality wellbeing mentoring. Moreover, my HR experience has equipped me with skills in employee relationship management, enabling me to prioritize the wellbeing of our members and create a welcoming environment.

I have been a part of this society since my first year at UCL. Over the past 2 years, I have held the positions of First Year Representative and Welfare Officer of the UCL Consulting Society. I am very enthusiastic and committed to the operation of this society and would like to contribute to it for another year. I wish to run again for elections and support my committee and society members. As the current Welfare Officer, I have fulfilled my duties and ensured the satisfaction of my members. Therefore, I wish to continue my position as the Welfare Officer and contribute to the society.

My interest in running for the Welfare Officer position stems from my international background and strong communication skills. Having lived in prominent global cities, I have gained a profound understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives. Furthermore, this international exposure has allowed me to develop a keen sense of empathy and adaptability, crucial for a Welfare Officer role. I firmly believe that fostering mutual understanding and respect is essential for creating a supportive community within any organization. My fluency in four languages—English, French, German, and Swiss-German—enables me to connect with individuals from various linguistic backgrounds, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that every member's voice is heard. My commitment to inclusivity aligns with the Welfare Officer position, and I am eager to promote an environment that encourages open dialogue and understanding. I am currently pursuing a business-related degree (BSc Medical Innovation and Enterprise), I possess a solid foundation in organizational and management principles, which will enable me to address the welfare needs of the society proactively. I previously held similar positions in high school such as student council president as well as led several charity events and campaigns.
