Firstly, I have high statistical and numerical literacy. I am confident in using tools like Excel to analyse financial data. My past research experience equipped me with the ability to create graphs and do statistical analysis of the data which can optimise financial decisions. I also enjoy doing a lot of calculations and currency conversion as part of my hobby and am confident in doing tedious calculations accurately. 

Secondly, I have a past experience in budget management. I manage my weekly and monthly budget by classifying it into different categories and making sure that it does not exceed certain thresholds. I also allocated savings in case of unexpected expenditures due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Lastly, I have acquired the ability and skill to prioritise expenditure that is more important and urgent to optimise financial expenditure. I developed a time management program as part of a high school project and the algorithm was to classify the importance and urgency of the tasks and complete those tasks first. I am confident this strategy is highly relevant in finance management as well as both time and money are limited resources. This experience also equipped me with the notion of design thinking which can make the budgeting process more rational, flexible and efficient. 

In conclusion, I am very eager to be treasurer as I have a high numerical literacy, able to manage my budget logically and am able to prioritise expenditures based on design thinking.
