As a welfare officer I aim to promote the overall well-being of the society as a whole and of each member. I will support and assist members that may be experiencing emotion difficulties. I will also act as an advocate for the needs and rights of the members in the society by ensuring that their concerns have been heard and are being addressed. This is crucial to promote diversity and inclusion within the society. Finally, if any conflicts arise I will work to find a mutually acceptable solution to promote harmony and cooperation.I have strong communication skills that will help me build relationships with members of the society and advocate for their needs. I can actively listen to member's concerns and offer meaningful support that is crucial in building trust and rapport with them. Empathy and compassion are very crucial qualities to have as a welfare officer in order to be able to understand the struggles and challenges faced by members and be able to support them. I believe that I have strong problem-solving skills that allow me to be able to assess complex situations and develop solutions to address them. My aim is to promote inclusivity and diversity by create a welcoming environment where every student feels values and supported.
