Arshak Shahrivar

Hi all!

I'm Arshak - I'm a second-year Economics student here with a passion for business and a drive to keep up the good work the UCL Business Society brings. I'm interning in management consulting this summer and have been a part of this society for the last year, so I've become familiar with the consulting space and UCL Business itself.

As your VP of Client Relations, I will leverage my experiences to ensure a high standard of communication between the UCL Business leadership team and you guys, as members, alongside our outside clients who work closely with our society. I'm keen to strengthen the ties industry leaders have to our society that will ensure greater chances for you all to break into the business world, including business development and consulting. Having had experience working full-time in corporate finance before, networking with professionals in the field, I trust that I can communicate effectively with our external relations and bring in prosperity for all the members at UCL Business Society!

Cheers guys, happy to answer any questions and looking forward to working with you all soon!

Albert Rowland

As a bilingual undergraduate with prior relevant experience such as co-founding and leading an investment society while in High School where I invited speakers from leading institutions such as BlackRock to give presentations on subjects such as the fundamental principles of investing, I hope to be able to add significant value to the success of UCL Business Society next year. The opportunity to play a more significant role at UCL Business Society is highly motivating. I am also very excited to contribute and collaborate with talented peers and professionals and for the networking opportunities that will be created through being VP of Client Relations.

I am a natural self-starter and believe the insights and experience I have gained to date - both through the investment club I founded at high school and my placement at Tomorrow Partners - together with the business management modules I am studying at university, such as the Principles of Accounting - will enable me to contribute significantly to UCL Business Society. As I learnt while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for charity last year, it takes determination and hard work to reach the summit and I hope to bring this same energy to UCL Business Society.
