Jiaman Li

Hi! I’m Jiaman, a current first-year representative running to be your next treasurer.

After moderating the IIC panel and conducting outreach for Business Society events, I aspire to do more than safeguard our finances. My previous experience as the FYR of four different societies has positioned me as the ideal candidate for the role. Not only am I comfortable working with budgets, but I possess other necessary skills, such as communication, which will allow me to contribute significantly to the society's overall success. I'm eager to collaborate with the president and fellow committee members to elevate the society to new heights.

My goals are as follows:

  • Communication: I'm dedicated to enhancing communication across all divisions. This ensures that every committee member can swiftly access funds for initiatives that foster the society's growth, delivering unparalleled value to our members.
  • Collaboration: As treasurer, I intend to actively build connections with external stakeholders to increase the financial and professional resources available to Business Society members.
  • Accessibility: To promote equal opportunities, I'm committed to subsidizing students who need it the most. Moreover, I’ll strategically allocate funds to try to make Business Society events affordable for everyone, ensuring inclusivity in every aspect.

I’m committed to using my diverse experiences to maintain Business Society’s strength and continue to deliver value to UCL students. Thank you!
